My Actor ♥

Hwang Chansung isn't just a boy band member who sings and dances. Even before he debuted as a member of 2PM, he already acted in some Korean dramas.

☻Hwang Chansung started acting as a cast of a 2006 High School Drama "Unstoppable High Kick", where he played himself, Hwang Chansung.

It was a 167-Episodes drama where Lee Yoon Ho, a motorcycle mania who engages in many fights at school and is known for his high kick, and Lee Min Ho, who enjoys spending time on scale models and web blogs, are brothers born a year apart but attending the same class at school. These two portray completely opposite Korean teenage characters in a comical way. And of course, there's the rest of the family. Their father, a full-time stock investor since being laid-off from work, nevertheless optimistic and reckless; their mother, an oriental medicine doctor and always overly confident; their grandfather, who loves money more than anything in the world; their grandmother, who is always defeated by her daughter-in-law in ongoing status quarrels, are some of them. Their uncle Lee Min Yong is a 27-year-old single dad. After going through a premature marriage and early divorce, he enjoys his life back in the dating scene with his half-single and half-married status, while continuing to encounter emotionally-involved moments with his ex-wife Shin Ji at times. Smooth High Kick! is a situation comedy, which portrays the everyday lives of the main characters colliding with each other in a comical way. However, at a certain point, the surprising mysteries of their seemingly-normal surrounding characters begin to unravel one by one.

If you guys wanna see a funny Chansung, then this drama is a must-watch!

☻Chansung's next drama appearance was in a 2008 drama , "Jungle Fish" where he played the role of Park Young Sam.

"Jungle Fish" is a drama about school life that sheds light on the serious issue of cheating and falsifying grades, as well as the stress of entrance exams at ruthlessly competitive South Korean high schools.

He also had acting projects after debuting.

☻He had an appearance in one of his Hyungs' drama, the 2011 hit "Dream High 1" where he was Kang Oh Sun's imaginary boy. He did a kiss scene with that Ahjumma! //cries//

☻After that he had a supporting role for a 2011 drama "Kaito Royale". He played the role of Jack (nice name huh.. kkk). It was a drama about Thieves lurking at a high society party hosted by a jeweler. Their target is an Alexandrite ring called "Alexander's tear" and said to be the the best jewel among jewels. Kamimura Rei has been recruited by Nishizaki, the butler of a mysterious woman called Kitaba Yoko, to steal the ring. Katagiri Karen and Kishihara Taiga have each been recruited for the same purpose too, and they plot to get close to the target. Rei, who prefers to play the lone wolf, had accepted the job because Nishizaki had hinted at knowing something about lost memory. Neither Rei, Karen, Taiga nor another thief are aware of each other. And so, this leads to an all out demonstration of their ability to cheat and steal what has been stolen. The tragic history of the ring which had caused its owner to die and a shadowy evil organization pose challenges to them.

☻In 2013, he played his first ever main role as Agent Gong Doha in a 20-episodes drama "7th Grade Civil Servant".

As Hwang Chansung perfectly portrays the role of Gong Doha, who carries an overwhelmingly unpolished beauty and a charming straightforward personality, his energy has also been bringing a lot of good fortune to the drama as he works alongside Choi Ganghee and Joowon.

At the question of why Hwang Chansung had chosen to play the role of Gong Doha, he showed deep affection and confidence towards his character as he answered, "I thought he was a really cool character. I imagined myself playing Gong Doha and it was really interesting. Though I do realize that I still lack a lot of things in order to perfectly portray Doha, I thought I can always give my very best and improve as time goes on."

Also, at the question of what the reaction of the 2PM members was when they watched the drama, he had chuckled as he answered, "They had jokingly said, 'He's really different from your usual self. Can't you be like Gong Doha when you're with us too?' as they continued to support me."

Upcoming:

☻Chansung will be acting in a Drama Special called "Your Noir". He will play a role of Lee Hyung Joo. Hyung-Joo is a gang member. He begins to follow a woman. The woman is the wife of a prosecutor investigating his gang. The woman was also Hyung-Joo's teacher when he was younger and he liked her at the time. Hyung-Joo still has feelings for her.

This will surely be a heartbreak for me. Seeing him fall in love with someone else. But I will endure the pain. I will watch the drama no matter what. I will support my husband no matter what. ♥ This is love. ♥

☻ He will also have his movie debut as a cast of the movie 'Red Carpet'. He will play as the bright youngster of the filming crew

I am so proud of my bias' achievements. He is now an actor who plays different roles. Hottests are proud of you baby! Keep it up! :))
